American singer and actress Priyanka Chopra’s husband, Nick Jonas was greeted with the chants of ‘Jiju’ in January 2024, when he performed at the second edition of the Lollapalooza music festival in Mumbai along with his brother Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas. Their band The Jonas Brothers was adored by the crowd as they performed their iconic songs and hit tracks. After the conclusion of their concert, they were spotted arriving at Natasha Poonawalla’s bash and posing near a few Innova’s. This has started a speculation surrounding them being in financial trouble. 

Almost a month after the bash was hosted, a video of the singer trio arriving at Poonawalla’s welcome bash has resurfaced on the internet. Dressed in casual clothing, Nick, Kevin, and Joe were spotted posing for the paparazzi after arriving at the venue. In the clip, posted on the subreddit Gossip Comrades, they are seen making their way toward the shutterbags, that are stationed outside the venue. They cross a white Innova parked at the entrance of the venue to pose for the cameras. A netizen uploaded the video of Reddit, with the caption, “Nick jiju & bros arrived at party thrown for them by PC's bff Natasha Poonawala in Innova : cheapest possible taxi for rich. Their multi-billionaire friend didn't send them car nor PC's family and looks like they didn't want to spend in luxury car taxi.”
Well, netizens were quick to dismiss the post and the remark. Many took to the comment section and schooled the original poster for considering Innova as a cheap car. Some shared their first-hand experiences and others expressed how American stars hardly care about the car they use to travel as long as it is comfortable. One wrote, “Beleive it or not, the Innova is the only 'cheap' car premium car owners won't mind sitting in.” Another wrote, “Americans for the most part don’t care what car they show up in unless they r a rapper or something. As long as it’s a solid car it’s fine. For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got hitched in 2018 at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in lavish ceremonies after dating for a couple of years. They welcomed their first daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in 2022 via surrogacy. The proud parents are often seen taking to social media to share glimpses of their daughter.
